IT Services -- Network Services will be performing a software code upgrade on the Datacenter nexus switches on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The upgrade is required to fix a software vulnerability. We'll be upgrading the code on one DCN device at a time, and no outage is expected for the dual-attached hosts as traffic will be re-routed through redundant devices. There's a potential brief connection disruption while the traffic is being re-routed.
UCLA IT Services — Network Services will be performing maintenance to Campus Backbone border routers on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The border routers' connections to CENIC will be re-configured to trunks to accommodate VLANs to Internet2 for Radware. No network interruption is expected during the maintenance window as traffic will be routed away from each connection prior to changes.
