Administrative Systems & Services During the Campus Closure
From Saturday, December 23, 2017, through Monday, January 1, 2018, the Information Technology Services (IT Services) office hours and systems hours of availability will be modified due to the University closure. For further information, please contact IT Services Client Support at (310) 825-8000.
IT Services offices will be closed.
The offices will be closed but normal computer services will be operating. Staff is available off-site and on an on-call basis to resolve any problems.
All services will remain operational. Staff will be available on an on-call basis to resolve any problems. No new service requests will be processed during this time, except on an emergency basis. Data Center Operations will be staffed to support daily processing. MDDS will provide courier service to Wilshire Center for check delivery. No print output will be delivered to Murphy Hall unless arranged in advance. Print output delivery will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
Information & Data Strategy
QDB/CDW staff is available off-site and on an on-call basis to resolve any problems. No user support will be available. DBA staff is available off-site and on an on-call basis to resolve any problems.
Information Management Services
Computer services such as Shibboleth, Box, Enterprise Service Bus, BruinCard Systems, and the Campus Services Portal will remain online 24/7. Staff will be on-call to resolve critical incidents only. Regular office hour support such as Shibboleth SP registration, Box Support, Portal content publishing, ESB service registration, and BruinCard door repair/access administration will not be available.
