Phone Services

Offering a wide range of business telephone services

IT Services provides a wide range of business telephone services to all departments within UCLA, and off-campus locations, using Extended Campus Services (ECS).

In addition to basic telephone services, IT Services provides:

  • Voicemail
  • Auto Attendant (AA)
  • Automated Call Distribution (ACD)
  • Uniform Call Distribution (UCD)
  • Telephone equipment accessories
  • Online billing


The UCLA telephone system offers a wide variety of convenient features, such as Call Forwarding, Conference Calling, Call Transferring, Call Forward Don’t Answer, Call Forward Busy, and Message Notification for Voicemail.



This service is available to all students, staff, and departments. Requestors using the Web Center must have DACSS authorization from their departmental DSA.
