Distributed Administrative Computing Security System (DACSS) is UCLA's enterprise application access management application.
A Departmental Security Administrators (DSA) uses DACSS to assign fined grained access to users. A user's ability to perform a transaction can be limited based on organizational hierarchy and/or full accounting unit scopes. In addition, a DSA can set dollar limits on financial transactions.
For auditors and reviewers, DACSS maintains a complete access management log. When key employment change events such as separation occurs, DACSS alerts the appropriate DSA so that the DSA can take the appropriate action to de-provision access. Additional DACSS reports are available via Cognos Web Reports.
