Luskin Conference Center VoIP Phone System Outage on November 17 (Resolved)

The Luskin Conference Center VoIP phone system is experiencing a complete outage on Tuesday, November 17.

4:19 p.m. -- All of the phones are now registered on the network and online. This incident is considered resolved. If you continue to experience issues or need to report a problem, please contact the IT Support Center at (310) 267-HELP or help@it.ucla.edu

4:13 p.m. -- IT Services currently sees over 300 Luskin Center VoIP phones registered and active. Test calls have been completed successfully. The team is still walking through a full health check to confirm there are no additional issues not showing any symptoms.

3:23 p.m. -- Some of the impacted phones are now successfully registering with the network. IT Services is continuing to work with the vendor to complete the resolution. 

3:21 p.m. -- IT Services to continue to make progress towards a resolution with the vendor. More information about the estimated time for resolution will be posted as it becomes available.

12:27 p.m.  -- IT Services engineers continue to work towards a resolution with the vendor. This process will take several hours and the new estimated time for restoration is undetermined.

10:25 a.m. -- A resolution is currently being implemented and the estimated time for restoration of service is 2:30 p.m.

8:11 a.m. -- The VoIP phone system in the Luskin Conference Center is currently experiencing a complete outage. IT Services engineers are aware of the issue and working towards a resolution.
