Network Services will be performing maintenance on the IT Services and Vendor VPN on Sunday, April 19th.
On Sunday, April 19, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., IT Services will be moving the IT Services VPN (its.ssl.vpn.ucla.edu) and Vendor VPN (vendor.ssl.vpn.ucla.edu) to a pair of new dedicated VPN appliances. The migration is transparent to the end-user, as the ITS and Vendor VPN IP pools and everything else will remain the same.
The ITS and Vendor VPNs will be briefly unavailable while they are being migrated and intermittent VPN connectivity could be expected during the maintenance.
This is in effort to separate the IT Services VPNs from the Campus VPN and to address the significantly increased VPN usage.
