Who Is Impacted by MFA?

All UCLA faculty, staff, student workers, visiting scholars, graduate student researchers, and others with an active appointment at UCLA, with the exception of those who work in the UCLA Health organization, need to enroll in UCLA Logon MFA. The UCLA Health departments that do not need to enroll in UCLA Logon MFA at this time are:

  • David Geffen School of Medicine
  • Medical Group (FPG) 
  • Vice Chancellor Health Sciences
  • Semel Neuropsychiatric Institute
  • Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital
  • Medical Center (RRUCLA, SMH)

Exclusions: We do not anticipate the need to exclude any additional individuals or populations from UCLA Logon MFA. However, if you’d like to discuss the business need for exclusions in your department, please reach out to the IT Security Office by email: security@it.ucla.edu
